  • Chariot Energy - providing retail electricity services for residential, commercial, and industrial customers in deregulated markets

POSITION OVERVIEW

The HR Data Analyst to support our Human Resources teams.  This role will combine data analytics, reporting, HR system administration, and system integration support across Workday and ADP - ensuring accurate, timely HR data that drives workforce decision-making. The role includes supporting data entry as needed, with an emphasis on system integrations, data migrations, and Workday tenant merge activities (data-side). This position is ideal for a technically fluent HR data professional who is equally comfortable navigating complex system environments and delivering clean, connected HR data at scale.

This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who can both analyze data and execute high-quality data entry and system updates in a fast-paced environment.

The employee may be required to perform other job-related duties as requested by management.  All duties will be assigned in accordance with applicable laws and company policies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

HR Systems Administration & Data Operations

  • Support data entry into Workday and ADP as needed, including employee job data changes, organizational updates, and position changes
  • Maintain data integrity across systems by validating entries, identifying discrepancies, and driving resolution
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, and HRIS teams to ensure consistent, accurate data across platforms
Support audits by ensuring data is clean, compliant, and well-documented

System Integration & Workday Tenant Merge Support

  • Serve as a key data resource for integrations between Workday, ADP, and other connected HR/payroll systems
  • Support Workday-to-Workday tenant merge activities, with a focus on the data workstreams: data mapping, data validation, data cleansing, and reconciliation pre- and post-merge
  • Collaborate with HR and IT teams to support integration testing, data audits, and issue resolution during system transitions
  • Support Workday Compensation tenant setup activities, including data population, configuration validation, and data integrity checks across compensation components (e.g., salary plans, grades, and compensation packages)
  • Document data flows, field mappings, and reconciliation outcomes to support change management and audit readiness
  • Identify and flag data quality issues that could affect integration or merge outcomes

HR Analytics & Reporting

  • Extract and analyze HR data from Workday, ADP, and related systems
  • Build and maintain reports and dashboards related to:
    • Headcount and workforce planning
    • Attrition and retention
    • Compensation and total rewards
  • Deliver ad hoc analysis to HRBPs and leadership

Total Rewards Data Support

  • Support data entry related to compensation activities (e.g., merit cycles, bonus programs) within HRIS systems
  • Ensure compensation data is accurately reflected across Workday and ADP following any system changes, integrations, or tenant merges
  • Flag data discrepancies in compensation records; compensation design and analysis are owned by the Total Rewards team

HRBP Partnership

  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners to support:
    • Workforce planning incl. org chart updates and maintenance
    • Org design and restructuring efforts
    • Talent and performance insights
  • Translate business requests into actionable data outputs

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of experience in HR data analytics, HRIS, or HR operations
  • Hands-on experience with Workday (HCM, reporting, transactions, and data administration) and ADP (Workforce Now or equivalent)
  • Experience supporting or executing system integrations between Workday, ADP, and related HR/payroll platforms
  • Familiarity with Workday tenant merge processes, specifically the data workstreams: field mapping, data validation, data cleansing, and reconciliation (technical configuration experience not required)
  • Experience supporting data entry and compensation data tracking; compensation design experience not required
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-system data environments with high accuracy
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data validation)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high data accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a contract role
  • Background in multi-state or complex organizational environments
