We, at Leggett & Platt Inc., are searching for a Senior Global Business Manager within our Commercial & Customer - Sales team to help support our Work Furniture (WF) business. In our Furniture Components business, we design, manufacture, and distribute a wide range of components and finished products that enhance comfort, motion, and style in upholstered furniture, including recliner mechanisms, seating support systems, and sofa sleeper units. With a global footprint that includes international manufacturing, product development, distribution and sales, we are strategically positioned to support upholstered furniture manufacturers around the world.

Leggett & Platt is North America's leading independent manufacturer of office furniture components and mechanisms. Our Work Furniture business produces task and finished components, as well as select lines of privatelabel finished seating. From surfacecritical bent tube assemblies and molded plywood components to chair mechanisms, bases, arms, seats, and backs, Work Furniture brings diverse worldclass manufacturing capabilities together in the production and assembly of highquality contract furniture products.

As a Senior Global Business Manager, you will have the opportunity to own and lead the global business relationship with one of our most significant strategic accounts. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the business by driving profitable growth, shaping longterm account strategy, and strengthening highvalue customer partnerships that are essential to the future success of our Work Furniture business. The team you will be working with is collaborative, highly engaged, and deeply committed to delivering exceptional value, and values strategic thinking, open communication, and a strong partnership mindset.

So, what will you be doing as a Senior Global Business Manager?

Owning and driving the global business relationship for assigned key accounts, developing deep, trusted relationships with senior leaders across product management, product development, and supply chain.

Leading the development and execution of a comprehensive account strategy to grow existing business, secure new opportunities, and expand our portfolio within the customer.

Proactively identifying and advancing new product development opportunities to increase share of wallet and drive profitable sales growth.

Conducting periodic business reviews with key customer stakeholders to ensure alignment, transparency, and forward momentum.

Identifying opportunities to improve profitability within assigned accounts.

Providing customerdriven insights to guide new product development and innovation.

Collaborating across internal teams-including sales, engineering, quality, finance, customer service, and legal-to deliver seamless execution and exceptional customer value.

Travel expectations - this is a Hybrid position with 30% - day/local trips

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

10-15+ years of experience in account management or comparable customerfacing roles within large, complex organizations.

A proven track record of driving sales growth and achieving key commercial KPIs.

Strong strategic planning, critical thinking, and project management skills.

Demonstrated ability to build consensus, influence crossfunctional teams, and serve as a trusted partner to executivelevel stakeholders.

Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to deliver concise, compelling presentations to senior leadership.

High financial acumen and the ability to use data to guide decisionmaking.

Technical aptitude; mechanical or manufacturing knowledge is beneficial.

Proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Project, and Word.

Things we consider a plus:

Experience working with global accounts or within global business structures.

Familiarity with ZOHO CRM and Power BI.

Background in manufacturing environments or the furniture industry.

Ability to read blueprints and understand basic manufacturing processes.
