Job Overview
Our client isย seekingย a highly skilled Senior Low Voltage Foreman to lead and oversee field operations for commercial low voltage projects. This role requires strong hands-on technicalย expertiseย across systems such as CCTV, access control, structured cabling, AV, and networking, along with proven leadership experience managing crews in the field.ย 

The Senior Foremanย is responsible forย executing projects safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project specifications, while coordinating with project managers, clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.ย 

Location:ย Newark, NJย 
Schedule:ย Full-time โ€“ In-personย (Flexibilityย requiredย to meet project demands, including occasional overtime and off-hours work)
Salary:ย $40-$50 (DOE)ย

Responsibilities

Field Leadership & Executionย 

  • Lead, supervise, and mentor field technicians and installers on job sitesย 
  • Execute installations of low voltage systems, ensuring adherence to design and specificationsย 
  • Delegate tasks effectively and ensure productivity and quality standards are metย 

Project Coordination

  • Collaborate effectively to ensure alignment on schedules, scope, and deliverablesย ย 
  • Coordinate daily field activities,ย manpower, and material needsย 
  • Provide regular updates on project progress,ย timelinesย and solutions for challengesย 

Technical Expertiseย 

  • Install, test, and troubleshoot low voltage systems including CCTV, access control, cabling infrastructure, AV, and networkingย 
  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawingsย 
  • Ensure installations meet industry standards and client requirementsย 

Quality & Safetyย 

  • Enforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations on all job sitesย 
  • Conduct site safety checks and ensure proper use of tools and equipmentย 
  • Maintain high-quality workmanship and ensure installations pass inspectionsย 

Documentation & Reportingย 

  • Track daily work logs, material usage, and field reportsย 
  • Assistย with as-built documentation and project closeout requirementsย 
  • Identifyย and communicate change orders or scope deviationsย 

Qualifications:ย 

Experienceย 

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in the Low Voltage industryย 
  • Proven experience leading crews on commercial job sites as a Foreman or Lead Technicianย 

Technical Knowledgeย 

  • Strongย expertiseย in low voltage systems including CCTV, access control, structured cabling, AV, and networkingย 
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and riser diagramsย 

Leadership Skillsย 

  • Ability to lead, motivate, and manage field teams effectivelyย
