Responsibilities

  • Perform bank account reconciliations accurately and timely
  • Prepare payroll and payroll tax documents including W2s and 1099s
  • Generate monthly profit and loss statements and other financial reports
  • Maintain and reconcile balance sheets, including fixed assets, prepaid expenses, and accruals
  • Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes including invoicing and payment tracking
  • Ensure proper fixed asset accounting and accrual accounting practices
  • Utilize QuickBooks for all accounting tasks and record-keeping

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of accounting experience
  • Knowledge of general ledger accounting and payroll systems
  • Experience with tax filing and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • Strong Excel skills
