Job description


Superlanet is seeking an experienced Senior Epic Hospital Billing (HB) Analyst to support a Southern California healthcare client. This is a full-time, hybrid position requiring onsite attendance one day per week.
We are looking for a well-rounded Epic Revenue Cycle professional with expertise in Hospital Billing, Charge Router, Research Billing, Claims, Remittance, and Self-Pay Billing Office (SBO) workflows. Approximately 50% of this role will support the Research Billing team and research-related initiatives, while the remaining 50% will focus on Hospital Billing, Revenue Integrity, and SBO operations.
The ideal candidate is a self-directed Epic analyst with extensive hands-on experience supporting the Epic Resolute Hospital Billing application. They will partner with Revenue Cycle, IT, and operational stakeholders to design, build, optimize, troubleshoot, and support complex billing workflows while ensuring application stability and performance.
Responsibilities
  • Design, build, optimize, and support the Epic Resolute Hospital Billing (HB) application.
  • Support Research Billing workflows and research-related projects.
  • Analyze business requirements and improve Hospital Billing, Revenue Integrity, and SBO workflows.
  • Configure and support Charge Router, Claims, and Remittance functionality.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing application support.
  • Participate in testing, upgrades, implementations, and optimization initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Revenue Cycle, IT, operational teams, and vendors to deliver effective solutions.
Required Qualifications
  • Active Epic Resolute Hospital Billing Administration Certification (Required)
  • 5+ years of Epic Hospital Billing Analyst experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with Epic application build, optimization, implementation, and production support.
  • Strong knowledge of Hospital Billing, Revenue Cycle, Charge Router, Claims, Remittance, Research Billing, and SBO workflows.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple initiatives in a complex healthcare environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Epic Research Billing Certification.
  • Epic Professional Billing (PB) Certification.
