THE ROLE

The Senior Ecommerce Manager is an experienced, analytical thinker prepared to lead theday to dayoperatingof official ecommerce websites for Legends International Retail Partners, Clubs, and Events within the growing portfolio.

The keyobjectiveof the role is to deliver profitable websites via strong user journeys focusing on customer experiences tailored to each of our world class partners. Driving continual improvements on each site to increase customer engagement and the conversion funnel are crucial, and strong collaboration skills area mustto deliver results on some of the world's most well-known ecommerce websites.

A key delivery of this role is the total ownership of the website -optimizingand trading to deliver maximum conversion and revenue. They willbe responsible forall the content across the websites, ensuring it is updated andmaintainedintimelymanner.

They will be an influencing voice in trading decisions, marketing campaigns, and content direction on the relevant partner channels in collaboration with all key internal and external stakeholders.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Primary responsibilities for the Ecommerce Manager are as follows:

  • Oversee the overall success of partner ecommerce websites

  • Meet with partners regularly, manage the overall partner relationship, and execute on ad hoc requests

  • Influence buying, stock management, and merchandising decisions through analyticsexpertise

  • Consistently improve the customer journey andoptimizethe conversion rate throughout partner websites through close collaboration with the design and development teams

  • Maximize revenue through diligent management of the products/categories/campaigns across the partner websites

  • Serve as the voice of the partner internally; understand andmaintainbrand integrity

  • Lead product stakeholders to developaccurateand clear photography and copy details of each product to maximize conversion

  • Ensure that the website layout and content is consistent, conforms with the brand and style guidelines of our Partners/Clubs/Events, and aligns with industry best practices

  • Obtain necessary approvals both internally and through the necessary partners

  • Monitor performance of the websites and report through development and refinement of KPIs

  • Manage website optimization plans, audience targeting, online use case formulation and execution

  • Support the performance marketing team in efforts such as PPC, SEO, Display, Affiliates, and push; ensure that campaigns are formulated and deliveredin accordance withpartner objectives

  • Validate testing ofnew changesbefore live implementation

  • Other duties and projects assigned and directed by the Ecommerce Trading Director

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential dutyabove atthe highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilityrequired.

  • Minimum 5 years' ecommerce operations experience managing multiple retail websites (preferably Shopify), within sports, entertainment, or licensed goods industries

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience

  • Proficiencywith Shopify and advanced analytics platforms; deep understanding of shopping cart optimization and customer funnel analysis

  • Proven ability to lead product and merchandising decisions by quantifying bottom-line impact across stakeholders

  • Excellent cross-functional leadership skills; ability to influence and align internal and external partners at all levels on data-driven strategy

  • Strong written and oral communication; detail-oriented, organized project manager capable of handling multiple concurrent workstreams

  • Familiarity with UXmethodologyand website management platforms

  • Excellent communicator (written and oral) with strong project management and organizational skills and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Must be available to work occasional extended hours such as nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs require and in a team environment with internal and external stakeholders across many international platforms and countries; travel up to 10%

COMPENSATION

In California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $85,000 - $90,000 annually based on experience. This base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations.

Legends Global also offers a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401k plan.
