About the Role:
We're looking for a Senior Director, Digital & Social Account Lead to drive strategy, execution, and client partnership across a marquee account.
This role is a senior leader within the business, responsible for shaping digital and social direction, guiding cross-functional teams, and delivering high-impact work while still remaining closely connected to the day-to-day development of ideas and execution.
You'll partner closely with senior leadership, helping translate broader business goals into actionable strategies, while ensuring teams are delivering culturally fluent, best-in-class work.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Leadership & Strategy
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day senior lead across key client relationships
  • Translate client business objectives into clear digital and social strategies
  • Provide strategic guidance on campaigns, content ecosystems, and always-on programming
  • Support VP leadership in defining long-term account vision and growth opportunities
Creative & Executional Oversight
  • Oversee development of integrated digital/social campaigns from brief to execution
  • Ensure all work is culturally relevant, platform-native, and aligned with brand voice
  • Partner closely with creative, strategy, and production teams to elevate output
  • Maintain a strong pulse on trends and translate them into actionable ideas
Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a cross-functional team (account, social, strategy)
  • Provide clear direction, feedback, and support to mid-level and junior team members
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture
Business & Operational Ownership
  • Manage account health, including scopes, timelines, and overall delivery
  • Support new business efforts, including RFP responses and pitch development
  • Identify opportunities for organic growth within existing accounts
  • Ensure strong internal processes that enable efficient, high-quality output
Qualifications
  • 8-12+ years of experience in digital, social, or integrated marketing (agency experience preferred)
  • Proven experience leading major brand accounts and cross-functional teams
  • Strong understanding of social platforms, content ecosystems, and cultural trends
  • Experience developing and presenting strategic frameworks and campaign ideas
  • Ability to balance big-picture thinking with hands-on executional leadership
  • Strong communication, client management, and presentation skills
  • Passion for sport, music, and culture

The pay range for this position is $160,000 - 180,000 per year. This position is also eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus.
