As a Quality Ambassador, the Quality Insights Analyst will champion a culture of quality by helping the business understand product performance through the lens of the customer experience. This role sits at the intersection of analytics, product creation, and relationship building. Success in this role requires the ability to communicate technical concepts and analytical findings in a clear, compelling way for non-technical audiences, while building strong relationships with cross-functional partners to influence decisions, and embed quality throughout the product lifecycle.

What You'll Do

  • Act as primary point-of-contact to collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence quality-related product performance improvement.
  • Build expertise and serve as a subject matter expert in our customers' perception of Patagonia's product quality and how to make improvements.
  • Communicate with technical and non-technical audiences both verbally and in writing, translating customer feedback, returns trends, and quality metrics into actionable recommendations that influence product creation decisions.
  • Drive adoption of quality and customer insight tools, helping product teams understand, trust, and apply data in their day-to-day decision making.
  • Independently drive projects that help inform product creation teams on improving the quality of our products.
  • Report on project status, lead meetings with cross-functional partners, and create supporting documentation.
  • Maintain and continuously improve dashboards, reporting tools, and insight frameworks that help partners understand customer and product quality trends.

Experience You Bring

  • BA/BS Degree in a relevant field preferred
  • Experience working in customer insights, consumer insights, product analytics, quality, merchandising, product creation, user research, or a related analytical business function.
  • Experience translating data into recommendations that influenced business or product decisions.
  • Experience facilitating discussions and presenting findings to cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience building trust and influencing outcomes without direct authority.
  • Cross functional collaboration, presentation and communication skills
  • Understanding of basic quality concepts or product lifecycle in apparel or consumer goods
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for translating data into insights
  • Curiosity, attention to detail, and a desire to improve product performance and customer experience
  • Demonstrates initiative, and creative independent thinking
  • Knowledge in quality, apparel, and apparel manufacturing a plus
  • Able towork well under pressure and deadlines
  • Alignment with core values of the Company's business model
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI)

Hiring Range:$105,000-$110,000 USD Annual

At Patagonia, pay ranges are assigned to a job based on the location specific market median of similar jobs according to 3rd party salary benchmark surveys. Individual pay within that range can vary for several reasons including skills/capabilities, experience, and available budget.

Workplace Location Overview
