Senior Content Manager information

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a senior content manager, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Senior Content Manager, you need expertise in content strategy, editorial oversight, and digital marketing, typically backed by a degree in communications, marketing, or a related field. Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), SEO tools, and analytics platforms is essential to produce and measure effective content. Leadership, creativity, and strong communication skills help in managing teams, collaborating with stakeholders, and driving innovative campaigns. These skills ensure the successful development and execution of content that aligns with business goals and engages target audiences.

What is a senior content manager?

Senior Content Managers are professionals responsible for overseeing a company's content strategy, creation, and distribution across various platforms. They lead content teams, manage editorial calendars, and ensure content aligns with brand messaging and business goals. Their role often includes analyzing content performance, optimizing processes, and collaborating with marketing, design, and product teams. Senior Content Managers play a key role in shaping a brand's voice and driving engagement through high-quality, targeted content.

Sadie hotel division is transforming how hotels communicate with guests using AI powered voice technology. Our platform answers inbound calls 24-7, manages bookings, captures upsell opportunities and integrates with major hotel systems across the globe.

About the Role
We're looking for a hands-on Marketing Lead to own and execute Sadie's marketing strategy across all channels. This is an exciting opportunity for a well-rounded marketing generalist who enjoys both strategy and execution.

Reporting directly to the VP of Sales & Partnerships, you'll lead all aspects of marketing—from positioning and content creation to demand generation, product marketing, digital campaigns, events, and customer communications. You'll collaborate closely with Sales, Product, Customer Success, Design, and external partners to build the Sadie brand, generate pipeline, and support our continued growth.

If you're someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, enjoys wearing multiple hats, and loves turning ideas into measurable results, we'd love to hear from you.

What You Will Do

Marketing Strategy & Brand

  • Develop and execute Sadie's overall marketing strategy aligned with company growth objectives.
  • Own brand positioning, messaging, and go-to-market initiatives across target verticals.
  • Ensure consistency across all customer-facing marketing materials and channels.

Demand Generation & Digital Marketing

  • Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive awareness, lead generation, and pipeline growth.
  • Own email marketing, lifecycle campaigns, lead nurturing, and marketing automation within HubSpot.
  • Manage website content, landing pages, conversion optimization, and campaign performance.
  • Collaborate with external PPC and SEO partners to maximize digital performance and ROI.
  • Monitor key marketing metrics and continuously optimize campaigns based on data.

Content & Product Marketing

  • Create compelling content including blogs, customer stories, case studies, landing pages, sales collateral, email campaigns, social media content, and product announcements.
  • Develop messaging that clearly communicates Sadie's value proposition across hospitality verticals.
  • Partner with Product and Sales to launch new features and create customer-facing materials that support revenue growth.

Events & Community

  • Plan and manage webinars, conferences, trade shows, and customer events from planning through execution.
  • Coordinate event logistics, promotional campaigns, booth materials, and post-event follow-up.
  • Support thought leadership opportunities and industry partnerships that strengthen brand awareness.

Customer Marketing

  • Develop customer success stories, testimonials, and advocacy programs.
  • Create onboarding and customer engagement content that supports adoption and retention.
  • Partner with Customer Success to identify upsell and expansion marketing opportunities.

Marketing Operations & Analytics

  • Own HubSpot marketing operations, including workflows, segmentation, lead scoring, reporting, and campaign automation.
  • Track campaign performance, marketing attribution, and pipeline contribution.
  • Conduct competitor, market, and customer research to continuously improve messaging and strategy.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing, preferably in a startup or high-growth environment.
  • Experience owning multiple areas of marketing, including demand generation, content, product marketing, digital marketing, and events.
  • Strong understanding of marketing strategy while remaining excited to execute day-to-day initiatives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot or a similar marketing automation platform.
  • Experience managing agencies or external marketing partners.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to measure results and make data-driven decisions.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience in hospitality technology, AI, SaaS, or enterprise software is considered a strong asset.

Why You Will Love Working at Sadie

  • You will join a fast-growing AI company changing how hospitality operates.
  • Your work will directly shape our go-to-market strategy for hotels.
  • High ownership and visibility across both the hotel and restaurant verticals.
  • Clear growth pathways including Senior Content Manager, Demand Generation Manager, or Marketing Operations.
  • Flexible hybrid environment and opportunities to attend major industry events.
