Job description

About the Role:

You will manage the strategic development of and oversee content implementation for 4-6 conferences annually with a focus on achieving revenue, customer satisfaction and market share goals. The Conference Producer will have responsibility for the selection and management of volunteer-centric expert conference planning committees. As the primary content liaison, they will work with partners, ensuring their products align with overarching Association plans. You will report to the Senior Conference Producer. This role is hybrid remote / in-office.

You Will:

  • Manage the development of conference programs using metrics to create the best possible conference agendas.
  • Analyze historical participant data, evaluations and surveys to maximize the use of all available applicable content resources.
  • Ensure onsite version of conference translates to a virtual environment
  • Be the primary strategic liaison for conference planning committees including selection and management of volunteer and technical committee members
  • Committee members select speakers, and provide oversight of the selection, while supporting leaderships' efforts to ensure Association strategic plans are included.
  • Work with all levels of internal partners, communicating relevant program information.
  • Manage speaker and program content related expenses in addition to overall conference budget expense management.
  • Review predictive models and registration reports to monitor revenue and contribution status. Collaborate with our teams to promote revenue and engagement.
  • Conduct risk analyses to avoid financial losses and address issues that arise promptly.
  • Partner with internal and external resources to contribute to the development of strategic efforts to increase revenue and growth.
  • Work with primary event partners to produce and promote exceptional experiences for participants through research, collaborative ideas planning and constructive evaluation of efforts.

You Have:

  • 6 years' progressive experience in event-focused project management including experience delivering high profile strategic meetings and events.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
