Job description

Administrative Support Specialist provides comprehensive administrative support across multiple J-Codes within the Joint Navigation Warfare Center (JNWC). This role ensures effective management and disposition of significant administrative workload to maintain the pace and scale of ongoing operations. The specialist supports staff activities, action officers, and executive event coordination while maintaining essential records and facilitating organizational processes.
Key Duties:

  • Supports administrative tasks across J-Coded Directorates
  • Performs administrative duties in a staff activity
  • Ensures proper disposition of significant administration workload to maintain pace and scale of ongoing operations
  • Provides support to action officers planning executive events
  • Maintains personnel and other files
  • prepares correspondence, schedules and coordinates travel; Assists with management of Task Management Tool (TMT) and acts as a TMT SME providing training to new users
  • Assists in the preparation of documents and supports the development of contract deliverables and reports.
  • Completes other administrative tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Interim Secret with Pathway to SCI
  • High School Diploma
  • Prefer Administrative Assistant Certification, Certified Administrative Professional, Microsoft Office Specialist or equivalent
  • 7 Yrs Relevant Exp in staff administrative support, preferred DoD experience.
  • Works well with Senior Leaders and manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
