Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control is seeking a
Computational Designer Sr. to join our inter-disciplinary computational design team. The team consists of professionals with backgrounds in engineering, physics, visual effects, 3D animation, simulation analysis, software development, and manufacturing technologies. The team works on a broad range of design problems and seeks to solve the design problems by creating novel geometry and reusable procedures that lead to reliable, high performance, cost effective, and manufacturable components. The team is small so there are opportunities to meaningfully contribute in many ways. The computational designer will work with subject matter experts to understand the design problem at hand, potential geometric solutions, previous efforts, performance requirements, and other important factors to guide the design process. The computational designer will use their creativity and expertise along with the guidance from subject matter experts to advance the state of the art of computational design and drive design solutions to completion.
You will be the Computational Designer Engineer for the Computational Design team. Our team creates novel geometry and reusable procedures that deliver reliable, highperformance, costeffective, and manufacturable components for LockheedMartin Missiles and Fire Control.
