Health and Wellness Attendant (PT) - Trilogy at Redmond Ridge (Redmond, WA)

Trilogy at Redmond Ridge is a premier 55+ active adult master-planned community with 1,522 homes. Located in Redmond, WA, the community is surrounded by natural beauty, with miles of forested trails, and has enviable facilities and amenities for members. The Health and Wellness Attendant assists the spa and fitness staff as they team together to execute courteous and rapid service to Members and Guests in the Fitness Center, Spa, and Front Desk. Other duties may be assigned as required.

This is a part-time position for our weekend shifts on Saturday and Sunday.

Pay Rate: $20.82/Hourly

Benefits: 40% off the Bistro and 40% off Spa services and products

Job Duties:

  • Responsible for offering superior customer service to members and Spa guests.
  • Maintenance and organization of equipment in Spa & Fitness Locker Room areas.
  • Replenishes supply of clean towels in Spa Locker Rooms throughout the shift.
  • Inspects and maintains Spa & Fitness stations for neatness and cleanliness.
  • Demonstrates function of Spa & Fitness equipment, proper use, and techniques.
  • Responsible for inventory of point-of-sale items, currency and maintains current supply.
  • Responsible for greeting and checking in Members and Guests, providing rental equipment, and adhering to scheduling procedures.
  • The Spa & Fitness Attendant shall maintain effective communication with Members, Guests, and fellow team members. Also, Fitness Attendant must have the ability to properly greet guests.
  • Outstanding customer service, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Accuracy in Scheduling and confirming Spa Appointments via phone and in person.
  • Understanding of Point of Sale, checking out guests, able to make change and keep an accurate cash drawer

Skills:

  • A Wellness Attendant must have a High School Diploma, or in the process of.
  • Minimum 1-year fitness center and customer service experience.
  • Previous experience in Resort, Spa, or Fitness Center preferred.
  • Knowledge of Spa, Fitness, Aquatics and Sports Industry.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • While performing the duties of this job, the Fitness Attendant is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear; lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
