Job description

We are seeking a Senior Data Architect to drive the design and implementation of enterprise-scale data solutions supporting critical national security missions. This role is ideal for a seasoned data professional who thrives at the intersection of strategy, architecture, analytics, and technology leadership. In today's data-driven environment, organizations depend on effective data management to make informed decisions, accelerate operations, and unlock mission success. As a Senior Data Architect, you will guide the development of modern data architectures, support advanced analytics initiatives, and help transform complex data into actionable insights. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with business leaders, technical teams, and government stakeholders while leading the development of cutting-edge cloud and big data solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of enterprise data architecture solutions supporting mission-critical programs
- Develop scalable data strategies and architectures for analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and enterprise data management initiatives
- Partner with business stakeholders, technical teams, and program leadership to define data requirements and roadmap priorities
- Provide architectural guidance and technical leadership throughout the system development lifecycle
- Design, develop, and optimize databases, data pipelines, and analytics solutions
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients and development teams to ensure successful delivery of technical solutions
- Recommend and implement innovative data solutions that align with business and mission requirements
- Establish best practices, governance standards, and processes for managing enterprise data assets
- Lead teams responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying cloud-based data solutions
- Mentor technical staff and provide strategic direction on data architecture initiatives Required Qualifications
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
- 10+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Data Architecture, or Data Engineering
- 5+ years of experience working directly with business stakeholders, IT organizations, and technical teams to design and implement data solutions
- 5+ years of experience leading data-focused initiatives involving: Advanced Analytics, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Enterprise Data Management
- Demonstrated experience recommending and implementing data solutions to address business and mission requirements
- Strong proficiency in one or more analytical/programming languages including: Python, Scala, R, Clojure
- Proven ability to work independently and lead technical efforts with minimal oversight. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ColdFusion
- Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
- Experience designing and implementing cloud-based data architectures
- Familiarity with large-scale government or national security programs
- Experience supporting AI and advanced analytics initiatives
