Role Summary

The production supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the cold forming department, ensuring that production goals are met efficiently and safely. This role supervises the team responsible for operating CF machinery, performing quality control and providing training and guidance to the team. The CF supervisor ensures adhere to all safety, quality, and productivity standard while fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Run all CF machines efficiently and safely

  • Perform complex troubleshooting and necessary adjustments or repairs on equipment

  • Read and interpret complex blueprints and engineering specifications accurately

  • Collaborate with productions supervisors, quality, safety and engineering to increase overall output

  • Provide leadership, coaching, mentoring and when needed disciplinary actions

  • Complete all necessary documents safely, clearly and accurately

  • Attend collaborative meetings as needed

  • Take part in leadership trainings provided

  • Lead by example

Qualifications
  • Must have no less than 6 years experience in cold forming

  • Must be willing to work off-shifts and weekends when needed

  • Must show strong ability to mentor and lead others
