Application Support Analyst
Class Valuation combines innovative technology, nationwide appraiser coverage, and strong client relationships to deliver fast, accurate, and compliant valuation services. The Application Support Analyst supports this mission by optimizing system performance, resolving issues, and enhancing user experience across internal teams, appraisers, and lending partners.
Position Summary
The Application Support Analyst fills a variety of roles within the business support team, but their primary goal is to perform technical configuration tasks related to operational escalations. They also serve as intermediaries between executive decision-makers, management teams and IT professionals to keep track of business performance, conduct process mapping and identify internal inefficiencies. This role is critical particularly when new processes and technical improvements are introduced.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Evaluate employee and client needs, internal workflows and business processes
  • Oversee detailed business analysis and process reengineering projects
  • Collaborate with business and IT leaders to create new process designs
  • Interpret complex data and business metrics for relevant stakeholders
  • Document business process modeling activities for future reference
  • Serve as liaison between IT and business stakeholders
  • Identify issues and risks
  • Bring inconsistencies and problems to the attention of management
  • Collects data to identify root cause of problems
  • Work with Product Management team to define new features (what they are and why we do them) and collaborate with team members to build functional specs.
Qualifications
  • Proficient at process mapping
  • Project management experience
  • Systems implementation experience
  • Comfortable with databases and data integration
  • Expert ability to ask WHY and figure out a way to do things better
  • Preferred 3-5 Years Direct Work Experience in Process Improvement or Business Analysis field
  • Technically Competent with Various Software Programs and Integrations
  • Strong skillset in Microsoft Excel and reporting analysis
  • Clear Verbal and Written Communication Skills
  • Strong Attention to Detail
  • Ability to Work in Fast-Paced Environment and Meet Deadlines
  • Capability to Work both Independently and as part of a Team
  • Problem-Solving Mindset with Ability to Multitask

Language Skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret common financial reports, and legal documents
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
  • Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format
  • Ability to effectively present information to senior and executive management teams, public groups and/or boards of directors
