Job description

EXCITING OPPORTUNITY: Senior Business Development Executive

LOCATION: Remote with travel

CORY is hiring a Senior Business Development Executive for a national 3rd-party fee-managed operator with a portfolio across both affordable and conventional housing, and a funded plan to double in size over the next five years. We're looking for someone who can step in and own client relationships at the highest level.

ABOUT OUR CLIENT:

Our client is a privately held, full-service multifamily operator with a diversified portfolio spanning conventional, affordable, HUD, and value-add assets nationally

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AS A LEADER:

• Source, qualify, and pursue new third-party property management opportunities across multifamily asset classes

• Own the full business development cycle from prospecting through proposal, presentation, and contract execution

• Conduct property-level due diligence, including rent rolls, T12s, occupancy trends, lease structures, and operational performance

• Build polished pitch packages, market summaries, and client-facing presentations

• Present confidently to owners, asset managers, investors, brokers, lenders, and capital partners

• Build and maintain a targeted database of owners, brokers, lenders, and industry contacts

• Cultivate long-term relationships to support a sustainable business development pipeline

• Participate in monthly business development meetings and represent the firm in active markets

THE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE YOU POSSESS:

• 10+ years of multifamily real estate experience in property management, business development, acquisitions, asset management, or a related field

• Proven ability to source new business, manage client relationships, and influence ownership-level decisions

• Strong understanding of multifamily operations, property performance, and owner/investor priorities

• Ability to read and interpret rent rolls, T12s, occupancy trends, and financial performance data

• Experience across conventional, affordable, HUD, Section 8, and B/C value-add communities

• Working knowledge of multifamily debt structures and how financing impacts owner decision-making
