Are you ready to take your career global?
The Senior Business Development Executive leads partner recruitment for our B2B payments platform, reporting to the Director, B2B Partnerships. You'll build your own partner pipeline from the ground up - sourcing, qualifying, and signing new Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), Value-Added Resellers (VARs), ERP software partners, and other technology partners who integrate and resell our payment solutions. If you love the chase - prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing - and want real ownership over how Global Payments grow through partnerships, this is your seat.
What you will own:

  • Build and manage a pipeline of prospective partners, tracking every stage from first contact through signed agreement.

  • Identify and cultivate relationships with ERP platforms and vertical software providers whose customers need embedded, B2B payment solutions.

  • Support negotiation of partner agreements, commercial terms, and related documentation, in collaboration with legal and leadership.

  • Execute go-to-market and partner acquisition campaigns aligned with the company's strategic growth plans, with an emphasis on indirect/channel go-to-market models.

  • Develop a working knowledge of the Global Payments platform and clearly communicate its value to prospective partners.

  • Apply solution-selling skills within B2B payments, software, or fintech to align our platform with each partner's business model.

  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and partner success teams to set new partners up for long-term growth.

  • Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline reporting to support forecasting and performance tracking.

  • Represent Global Payments at industry events and conferences to build brand presence and generate new partner leads.

What you will bring:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or channel sales within payments, fintech, software, or related technology industries.

  • Deep understanding of B2B payments, ERP ecosystems, and indirect go-to-market models.

  • A track record of sourcing, developing, and closing partnership deals from scratch.

  • Working knowledge of the payments landscape, including ISV/VAR/ERP channel dynamics.

  • Strong prospecting, pipeline management, and CRM discipline.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities and move deals forward in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Willingness to travel up to 25% and work onsite in Anaheim, CA 3 days per week.

It's a bonus if you have:
  • Possess knowledge of relevant industries and payments

  • Ability to build and maintain working relationships in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong understanding and experience using project management best practices

Work Environment:
  • This is a hybrid role based in Anaheim, CA, with 3 days per week onsite.

  • Some domestic travel required (up to 25%) for trade shows, partner meetings, and industry events.

  • Standard office environment; occasional standing, lifting of up to 25lbs., and prolonged periods at a desk.

Compensation:
Salary Range: $95,000-$105,000 + uncapped commission tied to signed partner performance.
