Job description

As a Senior Project Architect, you will serve as a trusted technical expert and leader on complex architectural projects. You’ll collaborate closely across disciplines to ensure seamless design delivery, influence high-impact decisions, and support continuous improvement through mentorship and innovation. You will help shape the built environment with a focus on sustainability, code compliance, and the consistent application of Performance-Based Design.

Deliver Results
  • Lead integration and documentation of complex projects using advanced design technologies including Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp.
  • Oversee and delegate specification and documentation tasks, ensuring quality and industry alignment.
  • Resolve RFIs during bidding and construction, addressing issues with AHJs and ensuring constructability.
  • Conduct QA/QC reviews and intervene when necessary to uphold project standards.
  • Support coordination across teams to ensure technical accuracy, sustainability goals, and code compliance.
  • Monitor design intent from performance-based planning through documentation and construction.
  • Mentor team members, lead lessons learned, and drive professional development.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent education and experience required for licensure.
  • Master’s degree in Architecture preferred.
  • Completion of AXP and AREs resulting in licensure; minimum of 10 years as a licensed architect or 10 years total post-graduate architectural experience.
  • NCARB certification and AIA membership preferred.
  • Proficiency in Revit or AutoCAD
  • Strong communication, time management, and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Demonstrated success in mentoring, QA/QC leadership, and integrating sustainable strategies.
  • Proven ability to resolve technical/code issues with AHJs and to lead documentation across all phases.
