POSITION OVERVIEW
The Asset Protection Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining all aspects of an Asset Protection Program in their assigned stores. The Asset Protection Manager is required to, as needed, travel to stores within their area. They will work with the store's Management Teams to protect the company assets; to include property, merchandise, cash, and associates. This is accomplished through internal and external theft investigations, Operational Audits, and Employee Awareness Training.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Promotes and adheres to all Company Policy and Procedures. Adheres to all guidelines as outlined in the Asset Protection Code of Conduct and the Employee Handbook.
• Identifies, investigates and resolves all Theft and Fraud activity. Utilizes surveillance, procedural audits as by direction of the Regional Manager of Asset Protection.
• Utilize all tools and resources provided by the company to detect and manage internal losses.
• Ensures all Company Safety Policy and Procedures are being followed reporting deficiencies to the Store Manager, District Director, and Regional Manager of Asset Protection.
• Develops and maintains partnerships with Store Management, District Director, Regional Manager of Asset Protection, local law enforcement and mall security, as well as Corporate Partners (i.e. People & Development, Operations, and Inventory Control).
• Provides expertise and training in all operational areas of the Asset Protection Audit and Monthly Awareness Program.
• Conducts Asset Protection Store Orientation and Awareness Training.
• Conducts daily AP perimeter walk to identify theft, physical security, or safety opportunities.
• Follow up on any Asset Protection Store Initiatives to ensure operational compliance.
• Participates in all store meetings and store management meetings.
• Manages inventory process ensuring accuracy and integrity.
• Recruits, trains, schedules and supervises an AP Staff, where applicable.
• Performs all other duties as assigned by the Regional Manager of Asset Protection.
• Responds to alarm calls as needed and required in order to resolve all issues causing them, escalates when needed.Reviews weekly alarm reports and investigates when necessary.
• Work with Store Management and Inventory control to resolve any inventory discrepancies. Conduct investigations for unresolved issues.
• If applicable- partner with Store and Corporate team in preparation for events (ie. Permits, guard coverage, escort, etc).
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
Experience:
• Minimum 3-5 years in retail Asset Protection (preferably luxury retail), multi-store, and specialty experience preferred.
• Ability to develop elevated relationships with business leaders at all levels of the business
• Multi-store environment - effectively managing volume, complexity and regional differences across multiple markets
• Demonstrates achievement of KPI's including:
o Investigative skills - evidence of managing an investigative program with clear results/ case productivity
o Ability to use analytic data to drive performance and risk management
o Execution of a comprehensive audit and assessment program
o Training Awareness - proven ability to develop/execute and evaluate a comprehensive training and awareness program for Corporate and Retail employees
o Corporate and Supply Chain Security - demonstrate understanding of synergies within AP department
Qualifications:
• Wicklander - Zulawski trained, or commensurate interview experience.
• CFI eligible (in relevant markets)
  • LPQ eligible (in relevant markets)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Special Skills:
• Strong time management and multi tasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Works collaboratively with focus on development of people.
