About The Opportunity

Compiles and analyzes financial information for our organization. Develops integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations. Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately. Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to management. Performs financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts.
  • Prepares, reviews, and analyzes reports and data, monitoring for accuracy and completeness and making recommendations for improvement
  • Prepares annual budget and forecasts and conducts account reconciliations
  • Maintains and reviews records and data to ensure compliance with all corporate policies and all GAAP, local, state and federal law
  • Performs month-end closing transactions including preparation of key reports
  • Provides requested financial information to key stakeholders
  • Develops product cost models to support management in decision making
  • Creates tools, models, and analyses that measure key performance indicators and report to key stakeholders
  • Completes supplier audits to ensure compliance with corporate requirements
  • Implements proper internal controls to contain costs and increase efficiencies
  • Supports continuous improvement initiatives for finance process and information flow
  • Directs staffing, training, and performance management, working closely with direct reports, to develop and improve the accounting function if applicable

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience required

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Desired

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact and influence individuals at all levels within the organization
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, articulate insights in a compelling way, and drive recommendations to conclusion

  • Knowledge of finance, financial methods, tools, and strategies

  • Knowledge of the methods, processes, and tools for maintaining the books of the organization and preparing financial statements and reports

  • Must be a team player and business partner that can collaborate across various functions of the business
