At A Glance
The Senior Analyst is a strategic leader within the Business Analytics team, responsible for owning client analytics relationships end-to-end - from architecting the data environment and designing advanced analyses to presenting findings at the executive level and mentoring junior analysts. This is not just a technical role; it is a senior partner role that requires both the analytical depth to build rigorous models and the executive presence to turn those models into decisions. The Senior Analyst brings 5-10+ years of experience in data and business analytics, ideally in B2B or enterprise environments, and operates with a high degree of independence. They own their client workstream, shape the analytical roadmap, and continuously elevate the standard of work across the team.
Minimum Pay
USD $95,000.00/Yr.
Maximum Pay
USD $115,000.00/Yr.
What We Offer
  • Health and wellness benefits plans
  • Flexible vacation and holiday policies
  • Paid parental leave
  • 401(k) with employer matching
  • Technology allowance
  • Referral bonus
  • Tax savings with flexible spending accounts for parking, transit, dependents, and healthcare costs
  • Opportunity to work with a growing company that actively rewards and promotes its employees

What You'll Do
  • Own and lead the full analytics lifecycle for assigned client accounts - from scoping and data architecture through analysis, visualization, and executive presentation.
  • Design, build, and govern Tableau and Power BI dashboards for strategic client and internal use; establish quality and integrity standards for the team.
  • Lead complex, multi-source analyses using advanced statistical methods - regression modeling, cluster analysis, conjoint and factor analysis - and translate findings into clear, executive-ready recommendations.
  • Serve as a senior analytical voice in client engagements; lead executive presentations, facilitate strategic discussions, and manage client expectations with confidence.
  • Define and drive the analytical roadmap for client accounts, proactively identifying growth opportunities, market expansion possibilities, and performance optimization levers.
  • Oversee billing and hour tracking across client accounts; ensure accurate, timely reporting and proactively flag scope or resource issues to leadership.
  • Mentor and develop junior analysts - providing technical guidance, reviewing deliverables, and raising team capability over time.
  • Author and maintain complex SQL queries in Snowflake; lead data modeling and ad-hoc extraction work supporting multi-account analytical operations.
  • Interpret competitive benchmarking data and deliver strategic recommendations grounded in market and performance analysis.
  • Drive continuous improvement of analytical tools, methodologies, and reporting infrastructure across the Business Analytics team.

What You'll Bring
Experience and Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, MIS, Statistics, Economics, Marketing, Finance, or related field required.
  • MBA, MS in Data Analytics, or equivalent advanced degree strongly preferred.
  • 5-10+ years of progressive experience in data and business analytics, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead analyst capacity.
  • Demonstrated experience leading client-facing analytics engagements and presenting to executive audiences.
  • Proven track record mentoring analysts and elevating team standards

Skills and Attributes:
Core Competencies
  • Strategic thinker who connects analytical findings to business outcomes - not just reporting what happened, but advising on what to do next.
  • Exceptional executive communication skills - equally comfortable building the model and presenting it to a room of senior leaders.
  • Natural mentor who takes ownership of team quality, not just their own work.
  • High-initiative operator who leads accounts proactively, identifies opportunities before clients ask, and drives the agenda.
  • Meticulous and organized; able to manage multiple accounts, competing priorities, and high-visibility deliverables simultaneously.

Technical Skills
  • Expert-level Tableau and/or Power BI - advanced calculated fields, LOD expressions, blending, and enterprise-scale dashboard architecture.
  • Expert Excel skills - Power Pivot, VBA, dynamic array formulas, and statistical add-ins.
  • Advanced SQL authoring - complex joins, window functions, CTEs, performance optimization - with hands-on Snowflake experience.
  • Deep statistical technique experience: multivariate regression, cluster analysis, factor analysis, conjoint analysis; R, SAS, SPSS, or STATA required.
  • Experience with campaign analytics, conversion funnel analysis, customer LTV modeling, and behavioral data.
  • Executive-quality PowerPoint storytelling - ability to construct board-level narratives from complex analytical output.

Business & Client Skills
  • 7+ years of client-facing analytics experience with demonstrated ability to manage executive relationships and lead strategic conversations independently.
  • Track record of delivering proactive analytical recommendations that influenced business strategy - not just answering questions, but shaping decisions.
  • Experience managing analytics in B2B, enterprise, or channel sales environments strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop junior analysts or cross-functional team members.
