Job description

JOB OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst. This role combines responsibilities in finance, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and accounting. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally with senior leadership and various departments to provide actionable insights and ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly financial reports for management.
  • Assist with the monthly close process, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Maintain and develop financial models and budgeting templates for management use.
  • Support the preparation and ongoing maintenance of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
  • Compile and analyze revenue/expense data to support business decisions and identify opportunities for efficiency.
  • Maintain lease software and prepare quarterly reports and journals.
  • Prepare various quarterly reports and flux analysis.
  • Prepare monthly consolidated financial statements for management.
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis and contribute to business process improvements across the organization.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in financial reporting and analysis (consumer goods industry preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and management accounting.
  • Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP/MRP systems and financial databases.
  • Solid analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Willingness to occasionally work weekends or holidays if required.
