Job description

Position Title: Semiconductor Sales Manager
This role presents an opportunity to lead sales initiatives within a key account in the semiconductor industry. The Semiconductor Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that drive growth and foster relationships with high-expectation clients. This position requires a deep understanding of the semiconductor market, particularly in microcontrollers and system-on-chips. The successful candidate will navigate complex client needs while maintaining a focus on achieving substantial revenue targets. Strong interpersonal skills and a strategic mindset are essential for success in this demanding environment.
Salary Range: $160,000 - $230,000 / Year DOE
Semiconductor Sales Manager Responsibilities:
  • Lead and own the sales strategy and execution for the microcontroller business
  • Build, manage, and expand relationships across engineering, procurement, and executive teams
  • Drive sample-to-design-win conversion through technical engagement
  • Maintain a high-quality opportunity pipeline in the CRM system
  • Provide insights into design cycles and product qualification timelines
  • Monitor competitive threats and position the company's value proposition
  • Act as the key voice of the customer internally
  • Prepare and deliver executive-level briefings and materials

Semiconductor Sales Manager Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience in semiconductor sales, ideally 10-15 years
  • Proven track record of working directly with high-expectation customers
  • Demonstrated ability to drive design wins and revenue growth from zero to over $50M
  • Deep understanding of the business model and internal dynamics of high-profile clients
  • Technical proficiency to engage with engineering teams on MCU use cases
  • Expertise in using CRM tools for tracking and reporting
  • Comfortable operating in a resource-constrained, entrepreneurial environment
  • Experience working with Apple on micro-controllers specifically is preferred
  • Highly strategic yet hands-on; able to operate independently while coordinating efforts is preferred
  • Persuasive communicator with strong presentation and negotiation skills is preferred
  • Insightful and proactive; anticipates challenges is preferred
  • High integrity, detail-oriented, and driven by measurable results is preferred
