Job description

The Senior IT Security Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise security technologies to protect the organization's digital infrastructure. Working under general supervision, this role serves as a technical leader in the development and support of key security solutions including, but not limited to:
• Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
• Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR/XDR)
• Network and Cloud Security platforms
• Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
• Vulnerability and Patch Management systems
• Identity and Access Management (IAM), including Zero Trust architectures
Additionally, the position requires close collaboration with cross-functional IT teams to ensure secure design, configuration, and operation of on-premises and cloud-based systems (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud). The engineer applies current industry frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, CIS, MITRE ATT&CK) and promotes secure DevOps (DevSecOps) practices, automation, and continuous monitoring to support proactive defense capabilities
