About Us

Simon Security Systems is a growing, family owned security integration company based in Montrose, NY. We specialize in CCTV, access control, alarm systems, and fire systems for residential and commercial clients throughout Westchester County and the Hudson Valley.

We are a small team where everyone plays an important role, and we are looking to bring on someone who wants to grow with the company long term.

Role Overview

This is a hands-on role working in the field installing, servicing, and troubleshooting security systems. Depending on your experience and strengths, there is also the opportunity to meet with clients, assess their needs, and assist with quoting new projects.

This position offers long-term growth and is ideal for someone who wants to build a career in the security and low voltage industry.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot CCTV, access control, and alarm systems
• Test systems to ensure proper functionality and performance
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues in the field
• Communicate with clients and provide professional service
• Assist with system setup, planning, and job preparation
• Maintain clean, organized, and professional installations

Qualifications

• Interest or experience in security systems, low voltage, electrical, or related field
• Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to learn and grow within the company
• Familiarity with industry standards and safety practices is a plus
• Relevant certifications (NICET or similar) are a plus but not required
• High school diploma or equivalent

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work on-site throughout Westchester County and the Hudson Valley
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Willingness to complete a drug test
