Job description

Job Summary:
Chenega Security SBU is seeking a System Administrator who will be responsible for integrating, managing, and maintaining electronic security systems. The role involves supporting system servers, software, and security platforms to ensure reliability and compliance, as well as performing updates, configurations, installations, and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Perform system maintenance, upgrades, patches, and configuration changes on LenelS2 and Milestone platforms.
โ€ข Support installation and integration of new hardware and software components.
โ€ข Administer, monitor, and optimize security servers and associated applications.
โ€ข Provide service, repair, replacement, and troubleshooting of existing security systems, including servers and software.
โ€ข Maintain accurate system documentation, logs, and records of updates and changes.
โ€ข Collaborate with technicians and engineers to resolve system issues and ensure operational uptime.
โ€ข Ensure system security, compliance, and reliability standards are met.
โ€ข Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Current LenelS2 and Milestone certifications required
โ€ข Security+ Certification required
โ€ข At least 3 years of experience as a system administrator or systems engineer with security system platforms
โ€ข Strong technical background in security software systems, servers, and databases
โ€ข Experience with installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of enterprise-level electronic security systems
Preferred:
โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred
โ€ข Networking experience (IP addressing, firewalls, VLANs, PoE, etc.) is preferred
โ€ข Preferred Manufacturer Certifications (Genetec, Honeywell, Avigilon, Bosch, etc.)
โ€ข Experience supporting Federal or DoD security environments is preferred
