Millennium is seeking an experienced Red Team Security Engineer IV to join our offensive cybersecurity team supporting high-impact national security missions in Huntsville, AL.

The Red Team Security Engineer IV will:
  • Conduct Red Team assessments and penetration testing against enterprise networks, applications, and systems.
  • Research emerging vulnerabilities, exploitation techniques, and threat vectors.
  • Develop custom tools and scripts to support offensive cyber operations.
  • Design, configure, and maintain representative testing environments.
  • Support cyber exercises, training events, demonstrations, and mission activities.
  • Manage multiple penetration testing engagements from planning through reporting.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to identify security risks and improve defensive capabilities.

  • Active Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain SCI eligibility
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, or related technical discipline (experience may be substituted for education)
  • 8–10+ years of experience in offensive cybersecurity
  • CEH and CISSP certifications required upon hire
  • Experience in one or more of the following:
    • Red Team Operations
    • Computer Network Attack (CNA)
    • Computer Network Exploitation (CNE)
    • Computer Network Defense (CND)
    • Advanced Penetration Testing
  • Experience developing tools and automation using scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, Bash, Ruby, or Node.js
  • Experience performing web application security assessments
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking and network security
  • Experience with offensive security tools including Kali Linux, Metasploit, Cobalt Strike, Burp Suite/intercepting proxies, and packet analysis tools
  • Ability to rapidly develop solutions in fast-paced operational environments

Preferred Qualifications:

  • NSA Remote Interactive Operator Apprentice Certificate or DoD Red Team Journeyman (Level II) certification
  • Physical Security training or experience
  • Strong knowledge of emerging threats, exploits, and attacker methodologies
  • Ability to think like an adversary and solve complex technical challenges independently

Assist with Business Development activities as required to support Millennium's strategic business objectives, which may include but not limited to participation in technical interviews, creation of technical documentation, general proposal writing support and proposal color reviews.


  • Must be comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at a time.

15-30% (or less) travel as required by the program.
