Job description

DPI Security (a division of The DPI Group) has an opening for a Security Shift Supervisor in our Portland, Oregon location.  This role assists with the staffing, scheduling, and on-site training for security officers assigned to his/her/their shift and ensures exceptional quality is provided to our customers. Bring your three or more years’ experience in a security supervisory role to our growing Team!

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the staffing, scheduling, and on-site training for security officers assigned to his/her/their shift.
  • Manage all assigned accounts including frequent site visits (customer/officer). 
  • Assist Area Manager in dispatching security officers.
  • Monitor security officer performance daily to ensure post orders are being followed accurately. 
  • Issue Verbal and Written warnings when necessary.  
  • Maintain equipment and coordinate service and repairs. 
  • Ensure the accuracy of timesheets and Avionte entries, as well as incident reports. 
  • Complete all data entry, paperwork, and other documentation as needed to assist Area Manager.
  • Perform all functions and duties of Security Supervisor, Officer, and Lead. 
Other Requirements:
  • Three (3) years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills within a diverse environment.
  • Computer literate, experienced in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated dependability and accountability.
  • Ability to collaboratively work in a client-focused role within a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to handle competing priorities and meet deadlines while maintaining high level of accuracy.
  • Must have and maintain a current state security certification and driver’s license.
