Job Title: Senior Manager, Industrial Security

Job Description:

The Senior Manager, Industrial Security is responsible for managing and directing all Special Access Programs (SAP's) and Intelligence Community (IC) security related issues at the L3Harris Space and Mission Systems (SMS) SS&I Division. The candidate will assume security management responsibilities for all requisite locations-based DoD Collateral, DoD SAP and Intelligence community programs awarded within the division. The senior manager will be responsible for the management and execution of all facility security functions including SAPF operations, personnel security, program support, physical security, information security, document control, badging and access control. In addition, site leader will be recognized as the Facility Security Officer and be required to support DCSA. They are responsible for implementing all requisite national security directives with specific emphasis on NISPOM, Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), Special Access Program (SAP) directives and other governing directives, as applicable. 

Essential Functions: 

  • Tactical operational control regarding management/operation of secure areas and Program Security Officer responsibilities.
  • Ensure all required security support for DoD Collateral, Special Access Programs (SAP), and Intelligence Community (IC) are met and manage operations of associated secure spaces in accordance with governing directives and program specific guidance.
  • Responsible for ensuring the formulation, establishment and execution of security policy, procedures and protocols pertinent to the facility consistent with National Industrial Security Program, Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs) and SAP Security requirements.
  • Responsible for effective communications regarding security by interfacing with or liaising with external customers (Government, Associate Contractors, Subcontractors, former employees) and internal L3Harris organizations.
  • Responsible for the overall completion and continuous improvement of security education and training, initial security indoctrination briefings, debriefings, annual refresher training and corporate requisite training.
  • Ensure continuous physical security integrity for facility in general and accredited secure work areas in particular.
  • Responsible for all strategic planning/actions associated with SAP facility modifications and future expansion.
  • Provide leadership on special projects that cut across the business and the company, to include assisting with S&AS-wide security process standardization.
  • Foster teamwork and collaborative efforts among the SAP Security team members to ensure timely completion of group project tasks and responsibilities.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 12 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.
  • Active security clearance is required; TS/SCI

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Prior experience as a Security Manager at a Cleared Defense Contractor (CDC).
  • Completion of an accredited/approved CSSO course; other professional accreditations and certifications

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado state and New York state is $109,500 - $203,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
