Job Description

Allied Universal is seeking Security Guard -  Concierge in Calgary, Alberta.

Job Title: Security Guard - Concierge
Location:
Calgary, Alberta 

Type: Part Time

Rate of Pay: $19.25 per hour

Shift: Saturday and Sunday ;0800 - 1600 and 0000 - 0800

Overview:

Allied Universal is seeking an experienced Security Guard - Concierge to oversee one of our Residential sites in Calgary. The ideal candidate is a seasoned individual with excellent communication skills, willing to work night shifts, and able to work with a dynamic security team. If you have  experience as in office security, enjoy patrolling, and can maintain a high level of professionalism, we'd like to hear from you.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Concierge Security experience.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills and wireless technology.
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Must have a valid AB Security License.
  • First Aid and CPR
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, occasionally climb stairs, and lift or carry up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver professional front desk customer service to residents, visitors, and staff.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, property management, contractors, and staff.
  • Resolve resident concerns and complaints while ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Perform administrative and clerical duties and support daily property operations.
  • Monitor CCTV systems to ensure the safety and security of the property.
  • Conduct regular security patrols to maintain a safe and secure environment.
  • Monitor, document, and report incidents, irregularities, and equipment issues.
  • Prepare accurate reports and maintain records using computer applications.
  • Follow security procedures, emergency protocols, and company policies.
  • Assist property management with additional operational tasks as required.
