You as a Security Coordinator will:

  • Obtain/maintain appropriate clearance with PSPC.
  • Obtain/maintain ACSO role with PSPC where required.
  • Represent EllisDon (ED) as the Security Coordinator on site.
  • Assist in implementing site security plans.
  • Assist in executing changes to the site security plans in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for daily oversight to ensure compliance to the site security plan; escalate as required.
  • Assist with control procedures of sensitive/protected/classified assets (Receive, log, and track/transmit sensitive/protected/classified information and assets).
  • Provide briefings and keep records according to both client and ED requirements and standards.
  • Provide continuous monitoring to mitigate risk of incidents/breaches at site(s).
  • Manage all aspects of access and maintain security access list for the site.
  • Coordinate site escorts as required.
  • Assist with building a security culture on site.

Is this the right role for you?

  • You have a business administration degree or diploma and two years of security clearance administration.
  • Experience or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience.
  • Experience working as a Security Officer, registered with PSPC is considered an asset.
  • You work positively within a team to achieve a common goal of completion of the project.
  • Must have Secret Level Clearance through CISD (PWSGC) or be eligible.
