The Gateway to Your Future

In this key role, you will be an integral part of the security team, ensuring Gateway's staff, property, company assets and valued guests are secure and protected at all times. You will also deliver a high level of customer service, support to staff, and provide accurate reports. The Security Supervisor maintains a presence, patrols gaming and guest activity; conducts door duty and crowd control, and escorts guests and employees as required.

You will perform a number of varying duties throughout your shift, including controlling access to the facility and sensitive areas, escorting visitors, assisting departments, lost and found, monitoring alarm panels, controlling and issuing keys, writing reports, maintaining a daily log and conducting investigations. You may also be required to provide first aid and medical attention.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervises and manages team performance while participating in security activities
  • Oversees training, coaching, human resources, safety and recruitment needs of the team

  • Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris and litter.
  • Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Adhere to departmental quality standards.
  • Perform other related and compatible duties as assigned.

  • Previous Security experience and Security training is a strong asset.
  • Proven high level of Customer Service.
  • Organizational, interpersonal, analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to obtain Registered Gaming Worker License with AGLC
  • ProServe, ProTect, and Deal Us In Phase I and II
