Job Description
Account Manager – Security Operations

Allied Universal is seeking an experienced Account Manager to oversee security operations for a large-scale security contract.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced security professional with a strong background in operational management, client relations, and team leadership.
The successful candidate will oversee security operations, manage a team of approximately 50–80 security professionals, ensure compliance with client expectations, and drive operational excellence.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in senior-level security management, military, law enforcement, or director-level security operations, with proven experience managing large teams, developing SOPs, and maintaining strong client partnerships.


Key Requirements (Must Have)
  • 5+ years of security management experience in a senior leadership capacity.

  • Previous experience managing large security teams (50–80 guards).

  • Experience as an Account Manager, Security Operations Manager, Director of Security, or equivalent leadership role.

  • Military, law enforcement, or equivalent high-level security background required.

  • Strong experience creating, implementing, and managing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • Valid Security Licence required.

  • Proven experience managing client relationships and security operations.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.

Location: Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
Pay Rate: $ 46.50 /hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday | 06:00 - 15:00

  • Extensive experience overseeing security operations within complex environments.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop supervisors and security personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily security operations and ensure effective service delivery across assigned accounts.

  • Manage, support, and develop a team of 50–80 security guards, supervisors, and site leadership.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for client leadership and maintain strong professional relationships.

  • Ensure all contractual obligations, company policies, and operational standards are consistently met.

  • Develop, review, and maintain SOPs, post orders, and operational procedures.

  • Conduct regular site visits, audits, and operational reviews to identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Monitor team performance, provide coaching, and implement corrective action when required.

  • Oversee incident management, investigations, and follow-up actions.

  • Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention strategies.

  • Prepare operational reports and provide updates to senior leadership and clients.

  • Respond to escalated security concerns and provide leadership during critical incidents.
