Job description

L4 Security Group is looking for motivated self-starters for the Virtual Security Monitor position. Flexibility is key. We will be hiring full and part-time positions to cover a range of hours that include 2nd shift, 3rd shift as well as weekends. L4 has a complete benefit package to offer. Pay will be based on experience.
Virtual Security Analyst/Command Center Operator/Dispatcher
This position oversees the security operations of a centralized video monitoring Command Center, that virtually patrols our clients' facilities. This position will be responsible for monitoring and responding to security issues by deploying the appropriate response timely and effectively. The employee must provide responsive and reliable assistance by exercising good judgment and always using good customer service skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Provide security monitoring and incident response services to protect our clients' properties from unauthorized activities.
  2. Virtually patrolling the clients' properties reviewing unsafe conditions, security violations, unauthorized entrance and/or criminal activity.
  3. Proactively respond and report unauthorized activity timely by dispatching security personnel and/or law enforcement as needed.
  4. Administer client-specific policies for controlling access to the property.
  5. Report security violations as well as provide necessary guidance to support staff and emergency responders to assist in resolving issues.
  6. Utilize the communication system and virtual monitoring system with a high level of professionalism.
  7. Accurately document events by creating incident reports for leadership and clients.
  8. Provide any other duties required in maintaining the command center.

Qualifications:
  • Must have a High School diploma or GED.
  • Reliability is a must.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule.
  • Must possess strong attention to detail.
  • Must possess good organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Must be self-motivated and can work unsupervised.
  • Mut have problem-solving capabilities.
  • Maintain professionalism and have excellent customer service skills verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Ability to proficiently operate a computer and other security devices.
  • Experience working as a dispatcher, call center representative, and/or security command center operator.
  • Prior Experience in Security, Law Enforcement, Military, Loss Prevention, and/or Dispatch a plus.

Physical Demands (Expectations include, but not limited to, one or more of the following essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation)
  1. Ability to monitor surveillance video for an extended period.
  2. Must be able to monitor multiple computer screens for an entire shift.
  3. Must be able to pass a criminal background screening, controlled substance testing, and behavioral selection survey.
  4. Must have the ability to maintain composure in dealing with emergency situations.
