What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help to control access to restricted areas in accordance with site protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related events as required.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, loading areas, and perimeter, noting conditions and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
  • Support employees, visitors, and/or contractors with directions, screening procedures, and other security-related assistance based on location needs.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
