Care Career is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in Beaumont, Texas.

Job Description & Requirements

  • Shift: Rotating Shifts
    • 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
    • 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM
  • Schedule: Full-Time
  • Contract Length: 13 Weeks (91 Days)
Patient Population
  • Inpatients
  • Emergency Department (ER)
  • ICU Patients
  • Approximately 2 Outpatient patients per day
Candidate Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program (or equivalent)
  • 1 year of hospital or clinical MRI experience preferred
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Experience with EPIC and Sectra PACS required
Required Certifications & Licensure
  • ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT Certification (Required)
  • BLS (AHA only) (Required)
  • New Mexico applicants only: State MRI License (MRT by MIRTP/NMED) if applicable
Job Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and advanced MRI examinations
  • Complete MRI safety screening for patients and staff
  • Prepare patients for MRI procedures
  • Ensure images are correctly stored in PACS
  • Troubleshoot basic equipment issues
  • Participate in Quality Assurance (QA)
  • Follow MRI safety protocols
  • Assist with patient flow
  • Float to other shifts or campuses as needed
