Why Thompson Thrift?

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in maintaining beautiful properties, and is committed to delivering outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the overall cleanliness, appearance, and curb appeal of the commercial development, including landscaping, parking lots, sidewalks, breezeways, and common areas.
  • Perform daily property inspections to remove litter and identify maintenance or safety concerns.
  • Assist with landscaping duties including watering, weed control, and general landscape maintenance.

  • Perform common area lighting inspections and report deficiencies.
  • Clean vacant retail suites, mechanical rooms, and shared common areas.
  • Complete basic maintenance repairs as assigned.
  • Maintain trash enclosures and monitor compactor operations.
  • Record monthly water meter readings and report findings.
  • Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment safely and effectively.
  • Properly maintain and store tools and equipment.
  • Follow all company policies, operational procedures, and safety standards.

Our Ideal Candidate for this Role

  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Why This Role Matters
