About the Role:

The Seasonal Park Maintenance position is essential for ensuring that public parks and recreational areas remain safe, clean, and welcoming for all visitors throughout the season. This role involves performing a variety of maintenance tasks that contribute to the overall upkeep and aesthetic appeal of park facilities, including landscaping, equipment repair, and waste management. The successful candidate will work closely with park management and other maintenance staff to identify and address maintenance needs promptly and efficiently. Assists in performing a variety of routine maintenance and repair tasks; performs related duties as required. This position plays a critical role in preserving the natural environment and enhancing the visitor experience by maintaining trails, picnic areas, playgrounds, and other park amenities. Ultimately, the role supports community well-being by helping to provide a clean, safe, and enjoyable outdoor space for people of all ages and backgrounds.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods.
  • Basic knowledge of landscaping and grounds maintenance techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:
