Description
The City of Miamisburg, Ohio is accepting applications for Seasonal Park Maintenance.
The Seasonal Park Maintenance position reports to the Parks Division Crew Leader. The following tasks are examples of what the position will be working on; cleaning shelters, parks, greenspaces, operating mowers and small engine equipment, assist in special event setup and tear down, tree removal, string trimming, and other duties assigned. The position requires staff to work up to 40 hours per week in all weather conditions, using physical labor for long periods of time.
Compensation
Compensation for this position is $14.00 - $20.00 per hour, DOQ.

The Park Maintenance candidates will be thoroughly committed to the Miamisburg Recreation and Parks mission.
Minimum Qualifications include:
  • Must be 18 years old or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
  • Skilled in the operation of Parks & Facilities maintenance equipment is preferred.
  • Possess a valid State of Ohio driver's license*.

*Licensure and certifications must be maintained over the course of employment as a condition of employment.
A combination of education, experience and training may be applied in accordance with the City of Miamisburg policy.
