Job description

Overview
Title: Procurement System Administrator
Position Type: Seasonal
Hourly Rate: $25 to $28 per hour
The Procurement System Administrator will ensure the effective administration, reliability, and continuous improvement of core enterprise systems supporting Six Flags operations, with primary responsibility for the EATEC food management system. This role ensures systems are properly configured, supported, and aligned with operational and business needs while providing cross-functional coordination, issue resolution, and support for additional enterprise platforms and assigned projects.
Responsibilities
  • EATEC System Administration & Ownership - Serves as the primary system owner for the EATEC by Agilysys food management system by configuring system settings, maintaining master data, managing user access, supporting menu, recipe, inventory, and reporting structures, and coordinating upgrades and patches. Partners with parks, central teams, IT, and vendors to troubleshoot issues and drive enhancements to ensure system accuracy, adoption, and operational continuity. End Result: A reliable, standardized, and well-supported food management platform that enables accurate inventory, costing, compliance, and reporting across Six Flags.
  • Enterprise Systems Support (Non EATEC Platforms) - Provides ongoing administrative and functional support for additional enterprise systems such as Maximo, Graphite Connect, Oracle Fusion, Navan Travel, and other platforms as assigned. Assists with system configuration, user management, data integrity checks, issue resolution, and release testing in coordination with functional owners and IT. End Result: Supporting systems operate effectively, integrate properly with business processes, and meet enterprise standards.
  • User Support, Issue Resolution & Operational Troubleshooting - Acts as a central point of contact for system-related questions, incidents, and operational issues by analyzing root causes, coordinating resolutions, escalating when necessary, and communicating status and outcomes to stakeholders. Develops practical solutions that balance system controls with operational needs. End Result: Reduced downtime, faster resolution of issues, and increased user confidence in enterprise systems.
  • System Enhancements, Testing & Continuous Improvement - Participates in enhancement initiatives by gathering business requirements, documenting use cases, supporting configuration or development efforts, executing testing (UAT), and validating outcomes before deployment. Identifies opportunities for process improvement, automation, or standardization across systems. End Result: Systems evolve with the business, deliver incremental value, and support scalable operations.
  • Documentation, Training & Cross Functional Coordination - Creates and maintains system documentation, job aids, process flows, and standard operating procedures, and supports training efforts for parks and corporate teams. Coordinates across Procurement, Finance, IT, Operations, and external vendors to ensure consistent understanding and execution of system processes. End Result: Clear documentation, consistent system usage, and improved knowledge transfer across the organization.
  • Special Projects & Ad Hoc Support - Supports day-to-day operational needs and participates in major cross-functional projects or initiatives as assigned, including system implementations, integrations, audits, or corporate initiatives. Flexes workload as needed to support business priorities. End Result: Timely execution of key initiatives and responsive support aligned with organizational goals.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma / GED, Associate's degree / vocational or technical school degree preferred.
  • 2-5 years progressive experience in purchasing, inventory, and supply chain management with extensive knowledge in operations- or direct material-related goods/services, preferably in a strategic setting of a mid to large size organization.
  • Strong computer skills, analytic skills, and problem-solving skills utilizing Microsoft Excel/Word
