What You'll Do:


  • As a Boochyard Pizza Cook, you will be performing prep and cooking of pizza and like food accurately under the daily guidance of the Sr. Kitchen Lead while efficiently providing customer satisfaction in a high-impact, high-visibility role. The Boochyard is our on-site taproom and community gathering space where guests experience our portfolio of brands. In this role, you'll help deliver quality food and a memorable experience for every guest.
  • Uphold our company values and be a knowledgeable Boochyard resource.
  • Provide prep and food service with efficiency, accuracy, and professionalism
  • Assist with the preparation of ingredients for menu items, including washing, chopping, and storing vegetables, meats and other ingredients
  • Assist in dishwashing and making sure area is clean and organized
  • Support kitchen staff as needed with other tasks
  • Perform daily / nightly cleaning tasks including washing, sanitizing, and storing pots, pans and utensils and equipment .
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area, including emptying trash
  • Follow all health and safety regulations
  • Deliver food to guests and ensure orders are correct when delivered
  • Interact with guests in a positive and enthusiastic way to create a pleasant and enjoyable experience, including answering basic questions on menu items and respond to any issue with an order.
  • Consistently maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and general upkeep of taproom.
  • Additional responsibilities that arise as required / requested.



Requirements

What You'll Need:

  • Preferred Experience: Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant is preferred.
  • License or Certification: Must have CA Food Handlers card from the San Diego County Department of Environmental Services, or willing and able to get before hire date
  • Specialized Skills:
  • o Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • o Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
  • o Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • o Collaborate with the kitchen team in creative seasonal offerings and menu items
  • Other skills: Willingness and ability to actively respond to inquiries and / or complaints from guests in a timely, efficient, and effective manner.
  • Must have flexible availability and ability to work different shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Must also be willing and able to work overtime as it arises


This position pays $18.00 per hour plus tips.
