Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $1,200–$1,400/week — Based on experience and qualifications
Relocation Assistance: Travel reimbursement available
Shift: Flexible schedule including daytime, evening, and on-call coverage as needed

Job Summary
A hands-on seasonal nursing role for an RN or NP who thrives in pediatric, outdoor settings. You’ll deliver direct medical care to campers and staff, maintain the Health Center, and serve as a grounding presence throughout the summer—where clinical skill meets community care daily.
Key Responsibilities
Provide medical care, triage, and first aid to campers and staff throughout the season
Dispense medications and document all treatments in accordance with individual health plans
Keep medical records accurate and current in compliance with privacy requirements
Monitor and manage common camp health trends including illness, hydration, and sun exposure
Liaise with parents, guardians, and outside healthcare providers as needed
Keep the Health Center organized, clean, and fully stocked at all times
Guide campers and staff on health, hygiene, and safety best practices
Collaborate with camp leadership on emergency planning and incident response
Support campers with chronic or specialized health needs including allergies and diabetes management
Contribute to a calm, nurturing environment centered on camper well-being
Minimum Requirements
Active RN or NP license in Maine or a Compact state
Minimum 1 year of experience with children or youth in a medical setting
Current CPR and First Aid certification
Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Able and willing to live on-site for the full camp season
Ideal Qualifications
Genuine enthusiasm for working with children in a community-based setting
Effective communicator with a team-oriented working style
Background in school nursing, pediatrics, or camp healthcare
Adaptable and even-keeled in fast-moving, unpredictable situations
At ease in an outdoor, rustic environment
