Job description

Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Parks Foreman, assists with parks maintenance needs including the upkeep of facilities and properties managed by the Parks Division to include maintenance, landscaping, and sports field management. Must be available for occasional evening and weekend shifts during peak season and special events.


Major Responsibilities:
โ€ข Under management direction, performs lawn maintenance.
โ€ข Picks up trash, and empties trash receptacles.
โ€ข Performs other duties as assigned relevant to the maintenance of City Parks and Recreational
areas.

Minimum Qualifications & Required Knowledge:
โ€ข 16 years or older.
โ€ข Eligible to work in the United States.
โ€ข Ability to operate tools relevant to lawn maintenance.
โ€ข Understanding of relevant city, state, and federal laws, regulations, and policies
โ€ข Understanding of turf grass maintenance and care.
โ€ข Skill in the operation of a riding lawnmower and other small engine equipment
โ€ข Skill in the operation of turf grass equipment.
