ARCO, A COMMUNITY RESOURCE is a nonprofit United Way Agency that provides services for adults with developmental disabilities and their families throughout northeast Louisiana since 1954.

JOB SUMMARY:

If so, we are seeking a compassionate and dynamic Community Ventures Group Leader to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with individuals with disabilities, helping them explore job opportunities, engage in volunteer activities, and actively participate in community events. This position is perfect for someone passionate about making a positive impact and empowering others.

KEY RESPONSBILITIES:

  • Assist individuals with disabilities in identifying and exploring various job opportunities.
  • Accompany a small group of participants to volunteer activities and community events.
  • Collaborate with local businesses and community organizations to create inclusive opportunities.
  • Provide ongoing mentorship and support, ensuring participants feel confident and valued.
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records for each participant.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of our programs.
  • Safely drive and transport participants to and from events and activities.
