We value problem solvers, prioritize collaboration, and support each other in an inclusive culture built on accountability and authenticity by demonstrating our values: Safety, Family, Innovative, Inclusive, Accountable & Courageous. Together, we're building the future we all aspire to - making net zero a reality.
Role Overview
The Engineering Change Control Specialist owns and facilitates the end-to-end change management process within the PLM system. This role performs all Change Administrator functions, ensuring engineering changes are properly initiated, analyzed, approved, released, and implemented while maintaining auditability, data integrity, compliance with CMII/CM2 practices, and applicable ISO standards. The position collaborates closely with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to drive timely, effective change execution across the product lifecycle.

  • Facilitate Change Control Boards (CRB/CIB) by organizing meetings, preparing documentation, recording decisions, tracking actions, and publishing outcomes.
  • Monitor and report on key change metrics such as cycle time, first-time-right rates, rework levels, and implementation adherence.
  • Validate incoming change requests by reviewing problem statements, affected items, object relationships, and required data or attachments; triage submissions as needed.
  • Coordinate impact assessments including form, fit, function, cost, inventory, supplier/obsolescence, and regulatory considerations, applying appropriate effective strategies.
  • Develop and oversee comprehensive change implementation plans ensuring approved changes are fully and correctly executed across the lifecycle.
  • Manage approval, baselining, and release processes for changes; ensure downstream tasks such as BOM updates, drawing revisions, and ERP synchronization are completed and close change records with full documentation.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and 5-8 years of related experience in PLM change management.
  • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills; ability to lead improvement initiatives.
  • Clear and concise communication skills with strong negotiation abilities and comfort engaging diverse audiences.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, business periodicals, and regulations; strong writing and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with mathematical concepts such as probability, statistics, fractions, and ratios.
  • Strong reasoning ability with curiosity, creativity, and capability to challenge status quo based on business value.
  • Proficiency in PLM systems (preferably PTC Windchill) and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to meet physical requirements, maintain professionalism, and travel up to 10%.

Why Should You Apply?
