Driver Helper Roles.
Approximate hours are 7:45 am to 6:00 pm
Shifts range between 8-10 hours per day and shifts are available up to 6 days per week.
Amazon Delivery Helper Duties and Responsibilities
  • Interact in a positive and a professional manner with customers and general public while assisting in delivering products to customers' homes, retail, and business locations
  • Adhere to strict safety and quality standards on and off the road. Assisting DOT truck driver to ensure safety protocols are followed while on the road.
  • Use handheld technology to aide in delivering in customer packages, manage delivery progress, and solve obstacles
  • Aide in maintaining vehicle is clean, fueled, and in good operating condition at all times
  • Work Environment:
  • Delivery Helper climbs in and out of van, and walks up and down stairs as required to deliver packages according to established procedures in all weather conditions
  • Flexibility is key; routes may vary and may be delayed due to traffic from on road congestion, construction, or other factors
  • Basic Delivery Helper Skills & Qualifications:
  • Possess a valid New York State ID
  • Proficient in English sufficient to read road signs and communicate with regulatory personnel

  • Proven track record of reliability
  • Prior professional delivery experience

Delivery Driver Job Requirements:
  • Ability to lift, bend, reach above the head, kneel, crouch, and/or stretch during shifts up to 10 hours long
  • Ability to aide in navigation of a large cargo van and/or a small box truck
  • Ability to lift, push, pull and move boxes up to 100 pounds each
  • Capable of moving up and down stairs
  • Possess a valid identification in the state of residence
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
