The Assistant Manager, SEO & Content Marketing at Lee Kum Kee is responsible for improving the company’s organic search visibility, website content quality, and digital performance through search engine optimization (SEO), content development, copywriting, and data analysis.

This role will focus on developing and executing SEO strategies, creating and optimizing high-quality website content, conducting keyword research, and analyzing website performance using Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Search Console. The ideal candidate is a strong writer with hands‑on SEO experience who can use search and website data to identify opportunities, improve organic traffic, enhance user engagement, and support business objectives.

The role will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure website content is accurate, engaging, search‑optimized, and aligned with brand and business goals.

Essential Functions

  • Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve organic search visibility, keyword rankings, website traffic, and user engagement.
  • Conduct keyword research and search-intent analysis to identify opportunities for new and existing website content.
  • Write, edit, and optimize website content, including product descriptions, category pages, landing pages, articles, recipes, and other marketing copy.
  • Develop SEO‑focused content that is clear, engaging, accurate, and aligned with the company’s brand voice and target audiences.
  • Optimize on‑page SEO elements, including page titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal links, image alt text, URLs, and page content.
  • Perform ongoing SEO audits and identify opportunities related to content quality, indexing, crawlability, internal linking, duplicate content, and other technical SEO fundamentals.
  • Use Google Search Console to monitor organic search performance, keyword visibility, indexing, crawl issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to analyze website traffic, user behavior, engagement, conversions, and content performance.
  • Develop regular SEO and website performance reports and translate data into actionable recommendations.
  • Monitor organic search trends and evaluate changes in traffic, rankings, engagement, and conversions.
  • Support AIO (AI Optimization) and evolving search strategies to improve content visibility across traditional search engines and AI‑powered search experiences.
  • Identify content gaps and develop recommendations for new pages, articles, and other content based on keyword research, search trends, competitive analysis, and website performance.
  • Review and proofread website and marketing content for grammar, clarity, consistency, accuracy, and SEO best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal marketing teams, agencies, and other stakeholders on website content, SEO initiatives, and digital projects.
  • Stay current with SEO, content marketing, Google algorithm changes, AI‑driven search, analytics, and emerging digital trends.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of hands‑on experience in SEO, content marketing, copywriting, or a related digital marketing role.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing SEO strategies that improve organic search performance.
  • Strong content writing, copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Experience writing and optimizing website content for both users and search engines.
  • Hands‑on experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Search Console.
  • Strong understanding of keyword research, search intent, on‑page SEO, internal linking, metadata optimization, and SEO content strategy.
  • Working knowledge of technical SEO fundamentals, including indexing, crawling, redirects, canonicalization, structured data, and website architecture.
  • Ability to analyze website and search performance data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Familiarity with SEO tools such as Semrush, Atarget=_blank hrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, or similar platforms is preferred.
  • Understanding of AI‑powered search, AIO, and evolving search behaviors is a plus.
  • Experience working with a Content Management System (CMS) and publishing or updating website content is preferred.
