How you create impact
The Operational Care Specialist plays a critical role in delivering an exceptional experience to our internal and external customers by ensuring seamless operational execution, proactive communication, and high service quality. As a member of the Operational Care Center (OCC), you will collaborate closely with Customer Care Locations (CCLs), operations teams, and process stakeholders to provide timely solutions, maintain shipment visibility, and drive continuous improvement across customer logistics activities.
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant processing of shipment files while maintaining end-to-end shipment visibility and data integrity.
  • Manage and respond to customer inquiries across multiple communication channels, delivering proactive updates and tailored solutions while balancing daily priorities.
  • Partner with Customer Care Location (CCL) teams to maintain service excellence by reviewing customer KPI performance, identifying trends, and supporting corrective and preventive action plans.
  • Collaborate with the Systems & Process team to drive automation initiatives, improve operational efficiencies, and enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Maintain accurate customer master data within core operating systems by creating and updating Business Profiles and managing customer knowledge resources, including Wiki page content.
  • Proactively identify operational challenges, escalate issues when necessary, and work cross-functionally to ensure timely resolution and service continuity.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by recommending process enhancements that improve productivity, visibility, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
  • Foster strong working relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment, operational excellence, and consistent delivery of customer commitments.

What we would like you to bring
  • 1+ years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain preferred.
  • Sea Export experience is considered an asset.
  • A degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field considered in lieu of industry experience.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.
