How you create impact
As a Sea Logistics LCL Operational Care Specialist, Export, you will serve as a key customer-facing contact for LCL export shipments, delivering exceptional service and support throughout the shipment lifecycle. You will help ensure a seamless customer experience through proactive communication, issue resolution, onboarding, implementation activities, rate support, and shipment visibility. Working in a fast-paced Freight All Kinds (FAK) environment, you will collaborate closely with customers, internal teams, vendors, operational partners, and the Bogota operations team to support the successful movement of freight. Your ability to prioritize, adapt, problem-solve, and maintain strong customer relationships will be critical to delivering service excellence and driving operational success.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding LCL export shipments, providing timely, professional, and customer-focused support.
  • Manage customer inquiries across multiple communication channels and ensure prompt resolution of issues and service requests.
  • Support customer onboarding and implementation activities to ensure a smooth transition and positive customer experience.
  • Provide shipment visibility updates, rate support, and proactive communication throughout the shipment lifecycle.
  • Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders, vendors, operational partners, and the Bogota operations team to facilitate efficient shipment execution.Maintain accurate customer, shipment, and transactional information within company systems.
  • Document customer interactions and support accurate shipment file processing in accordance with established procedures.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance with customer requirements and company guidelines.
  • Monitor customer needs and key performance indicators (KPIs), helping to identify service improvement opportunities and corrective or preventive actions.
  • Review, acknowledge, and dispute invoices within the accounting system as required to support accurate billing and financial processes.
  • Effectively prioritize competing tasks and customer requests in a dynamic FAK environment with varying shipment profiles and requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships while contributing to customer retention and satisfaction.
  • Support operational consistency, service quality initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts across the LCL Export Customer Care team.
What we would like you to bring
  • 1+ years of freight forwarding experience, specifically in sea logistics export
  • Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to build relationships and resolve issues effectively
  • Ability to work collaboratively with customers, carriers, vendors, and cross-functional teams
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in MS Office365
